This study aimed to evaluate the effect of Needle Stick injuries on the healthcare workers in Besat Hospital. In this descriptive cross-sectional study, 150 healthcare personnel of Besat Hospital, who suffered from needle stick injuries, were selected. The results showed that the mean age of the subjects was 28.8 years with a standard deviation of 8.6 years. Accordingly, 50.7% were males and 49.3% were females. The population consisted of students (17.3%), nurses (17.3%), physicians (2.7%), healthcare workers (52.7%) and others (10%). 62.7% had degrees lower than bachelor's degree, 32.7% had a bachelor's degree and 4.7% had MA or higher degrees. No cases of hepatitis B and C and HIV infection were observed in the subjects. According to the results, there were no cases of hepatitis B and C and HIV infection in the healthcare workers of Besat Hospital
